Clear Street's Commitment to Corporate Access and the “Power of Prime”
Corporate Access is an integral factor in success for public company management teams today. CEOs, CFOs and Investor Relations executives must use their time and resources wisely, and need their investor access efforts to demonstrate engagement with both new and existing shareholders. For many teams, particularly those below the large cap threshold, investment bank sponsored non-deal roadshows can be the source of frustration and potential productivity loss. CEOs are left defending their efforts in front of their Boards, tied to volume and share price KPIs. Meeting new pools of investors, those outside the typical top client list of the traditional investment banks, can meaningfully assuage these pain points for corporate teams.
The Power of Prime. What sets us apart is our prime brokerage network, where we are an embedded and trusted service provider to hundreds of alternative managers, who rely on Clear Street for Prime Brokerage. That pool of clients spans the spectrum from family offices to emerging and well-established managers. These managers, already integrated into our prime services ecosystem, represent a unique pool of capital that's both sophisticated and opportunistic.
Unlike traditional corporate access models that prioritize the largest institutional accounts or highest paying clients, our platform leverages relationships with active hedge fund managers who can move quickly on compelling opportunities.
Our approach addresses three critical needs for growth companies:
1. Transparent Access: We've eliminated the traditional gatekeeping model that often restricts access to select institutional investors. Our platform provides complete visibility into investor demand, ensuring companies can connect with the full spectrum of interested parties – from established hedge funds to emerging family offices.
2. Strategic Execution: Every interaction is managed with precision. Our team doesn't just coordinate meetings; we provide comprehensive strategic support, including detailed investor profiling, meeting preparation and real-time feedback mechanisms that help optimize your market approach.
3. Data-Driven Insights: Our analytics platform tracks engagement metrics, investor sentiment and market feedback, providing actionable insights that help refine your investor marketing strategy. This data-driven approach ensures every interaction contributes to your broader market positioning.
At Clear Street, we have a systematic approach to helping high growth companies access meaningful capital and build lasting relationships with the buy side. We do this by identifying and targeting suitable institutional investors by leveraging our world-class team, relationships and technology.
Our Corporate Access function starts with one key focus: YOU. Our team's deep sector expertise, white glove client service and market intelligence help companies refine their equity story, identify the most relevant investors and create meaningful connections that drive value. For high growth companies seeking to elevate their market presence, our platform offers a differentiated approach that combines technological efficiency with high-touch expertise. We're not just facilitating meetings – we're building the premier destination to help growth companies connect with their relevant investor audience.
Our commitment to our equity capital markets services, built to leverage our “power of prime”, is reflected in our recent strategic hires. Our team combines deep institutional knowledge with proven corporate access expertise. Steve Skapper, Managing Director of Research Sales brings over two decades of institutional sales leadership at Wells Fargo Securities and has built lasting relationships with top asset managers and hedge funds. Austin Graham, Managing Director of Sales & Trading was the former Head of Equities at Macquarie Group and Middle Market Sales at Lehman Brothers, contributing 30 years of institutional expertise. Together, they've revolutionized trading efficiency, streamlined broker relationships and built sophisticated corporate access platforms at leading institutions.
In 2024, our equity research team launched on various sectors including disruptive technology, healthcare, biotechnology and energy transition, with market caps ranging from $100 million to $6 billion. Our equity research franchise complements our already existing institutional products including Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, M&A Advisory and Corporate Access.
Our investment banking team remains an integral part of our service offering. Having advised on over $5 billion in deals in 2024 – we are excited to build on that success with our inaugural 2025 Disruptive Technology Conference on November 19-21. The event will be hosted at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach in Florida, bringing together over 20 innovative technology companies for presentations and one-on-one meetings with institutional investors.
